About Magnum

MAGNUM LIGHTWEIGHT NYLON 6.6 FIRE HOSE THIS IS KEY Unique double jacket construction, combining the supple high strength of Nylon 6. Our proprietary reverse twill weave construction reduces friction loss while ensuring the hose is lightweight, easy to handle and easy to pack. Lining The rubber lining shall be a single-ply extruded tube of synthetic high MAGNUM tensile EPDM compounded to resist ozone.

Scope

Unique double jacket construction, combining the supple high strength of Nylon 6.6 yarn and polyester filament fibers to form a highly abrasion resistant outer jacket and an inner jacket with increased tensile strength and durability.

Jacket Construction

Our proprietary reverse twill weave construction reduces friction loss while ensuring the hose is lightweight, easy to handle and easy to pack.

Abrasion

Hose assemblies shall come standard with the special “Key-Lok” polyurethane based polymer impregnation for added abrasion resistance and ease in identification purposes.

Lining

Thin wall, high tensile, EPDM, dependable, rubber liner provides superior kink resistance and eliminates ozone deterioration while maintaining the lightweight integrity of the hose.

Couplings

Connection options are available to match apparatus and deployment preferences.

Performance and Standards

The minimum burst test pressure, when tested in accordance to NFPA 1961, on all Magnum diameters up to 3" shall be 1200 psi / 82 bar. Meets or exceeds NFPA 1961. UL listing applies by diameter and pressure rating.
