A heavy-duty lifting strut that builds on the user-friendly Auto X-Strut design with more capability, smoother adjustment, and added control under load.

Apex X-Strut | Heavy-Duty Lifting Strut
Overview
The Apex X-Strut takes the user-friendly Auto X-Strut concept and scales it up for heavier-duty stabilization and lifting work.
Its combination of a threaded inner tube and square outer tube allows for a built-in ratchet on the standard strut, plus an internal positive stop that reduces over-extension risk.

Product Features
The product images below come from your local Apex X-Strut files, and the feature copy follows the same sequence shown on those graphics.

1. Swivel CRG End Fitting
The Apex X-Strut comes standard with the Swivel CRG head fitting, giving crews multiple purchase-point options and 360 degree rotation to quickly find the right contact point.
2. Quick-Release Head Fittings
Change head fittings with a single retaining pin. Apex X-Strut works with Res-Q-Jack pin-free end fittings and other manufacturers' fittings for mutual aid flexibility.
3. Pin-Free / Twist-Free Operation
The threaded inner tube allows fast, smooth adjustment without pins, while the positive-stop design helps keep the inner tube from rotating under lighter loads and reduces over-extension risk.
4. Aluminum Construction
A milled aluminum inner tube paired with a welded aluminum chassis delivers strength for shoring, stabilization, and lifting without adding unnecessary weight.

5. Compatible Head Fittings
Quick-release fittings detach in seconds so crews can add extensions for more length or swap in fittings from other manufacturers.
6. X-Strut Lifting Power
With the removable mechanical Add-On Jack, the Apex X-Strut converts from shoring strut to lifting strut in seconds, delivering 6,000 lbs. of lift capacity with 12" of travel before reset.
7. Built-In Ratchet Strap
The standard strut includes a built-in ratchet strap with wire hooks so the strap stays right where crews need it. This feature is not offered on the short strut.
8. Base-Mounted D-Rings
Pivoting rings built into the base plate support fast attachment of straps, hooks, and chains, and they can also serve as a picket receiver when anchoring is required.
