EXM2 Monitors

The EXM2 family is not one monitor. It is a control platform that carries across several monitor bodies and use cases, from truck-mounted attack monitors to higher-flow industrial and fixed-system deployments. This page separates the shared control stack from the actual monitor bodies so spec work goes faster.

Platform Overview

What carries across the EXM2 family

Configuration access

Integrated Wi-Fi server for browser-based setup, diagnostics, travel limits, and keep-out zones.

Control options

12 or 24 VDC compatibility, wired or wireless controllers, and J1939 CANBUS support.

Programmable functions

Stow, deploy, oscillation, travel speeds, and monitor safe zones can all be set at the control layer.

Mechanical build

Sealed control components, absolute position sensors, manual override, and hard-anodized aluminum waterways.

Control Features

  • 12 or 24 VDC compatible control architecture.
  • Wired and wireless controller options depending on application and apparatus layout.
  • Programmable stow, deploy, oscillation, travel limits, and keep-out zones.
  • Integrated water valve control and J1939 compatibility for apparatus integration.
  • Wi-Fi browser access for setup, updates, and diagnostic retrieval without opening up the control system.

Mechanical Notes

  • Motors and control components are sealed to NEMA 4.
  • Axially aligned thrust bearings and absolute position sensors support repeatable travel control.
  • Manual override is built in for loss-of-power contingencies.
  • Teflon-impregnated, hard-anodized aluminum waterways are used across the EXM2 family.
  • Deutsch and SAE wiring connection options are available for installation planning.

Family Coverage

Additional EXM2 bodies in the lineup

Not every body in the EXM2 family exposes the same level of published quantitative detail, but the lineup also includes Scorpion EXM2, CobraMAX, and Sidewinder EXM2 UHP. If you are building around one of those bodies specifically, Firematic can narrow the spec set around the monitor, nozzle, and controller package that belongs together.

Support Documents

Document Availability

The current mirrored Elkhart data set did not expose EXM2-specific PDFs cleanly enough to host them here with confidence. The quantitative monitor data above is still preserved, and Firematic can narrow the exact control and monitor package once the target body is selected.
